摘要 经颅微电流刺激已被广泛用于改善和治疗焦虑、抑郁和失眠等不适应症。研制一种波形、脉宽、重复频率和强度等多参数可调的经颅微电流刺激仪。在设备开发中,为避免个体头部阻抗差异导致的刺激电流强度变化,利用恒流模块实现相同强度的脑部刺激电流。为评估刺激效果,招募20个志愿者进行实际测试。通过脑电频谱分析和双因素重复方差分析方法,对不同刺激波形在刺激前后的脑电α频段频谱含量进行评估。评估结果表明,α频段频谱含量在刺激参数和刺激前后两个因素的交互作用显著 (P<0.01),4种波形(方波、三角波、锯齿波、正弦波)均能在不同程度上有效提升α频段频谱含量,且正弦波刺激能显著提高EEGα频段的频谱含量(功率谱占比提高20%以上),由此证明设备的有效性。

Abstract:Cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) has been widely used to treat the disorders as anxiety, depression, insomnia and chronic pain. In this work, we presented a cranial electrotherapy stimulation device that provided adjustable stimulation parameters such as wave pattern, repetition rate, pulse width and intensity. In order to prevent the difference on the stimulating current density due to the difference on the individual head impedance, a constant current density component was developed and used in the device. To evaluate the effect of the stimulation, we recruited 20 volunteers to carry out the experiment. The electroencephalography (EEG) technique and two-factor variance analysis method were used to map the changes pre- and post-CES. The results revealed that the interaction of the stimulation parameters and the pre- and post- CES is significant (P<0.01). Four kinds of waveforms (square wave, triangle wave, saw tooth wave, sine wave) can effectively improve the alphawave’s spectrum content in different degree. Furthermore, the presented sinusoid wave can significantly improve the percentage of the alpha-wave power spectrum (power spectrum ratio increased by more than 20%), the effectiveness of the device was demonstrated.
